I take photographs. I take lots of them. Some are quite good. Others, quite awful. Some, I am willing to call “images,” rather than “photos,” or even the more generic, “pictures.” Almost all of the images have some sort of a story attached to them. It may be true. It may not be. Or it, may be both true and not true. Some of the stories about the place, others about the people who may or may not have frequented or lived at the place. Some are just about people. And still others stories of memories, mine and others, prompted by the image.
In WORDS + IMAGES I have sought to tell the stories. Some of the stories include quite a few images. Some only one. Sometimes the images are woven through the story, others times, set as gallery following the story.
Now, the these stories are of my telling. A lot of these images, I am sure will stir up stories of your own making. Stories of places you been, people you know, memories of things you once had, that after all is what a good image is all about—memories & stories.
