The world of rust is harsh. The environment is not kind, not one iota kind. The only goal of rust is to exist. In the field and junk yards vehicles struggle against all odds to exist. Rust is voracious. Usually rust wins, but on occasion, for a lucky few, rust is vanquished.
In Junkyard Relics I feature those that have succumbed, those that are succumbing, and those fortunate few who have been rescued. To my eye, they are all beautiful. And let's face it, rust – a rusty patina – is beautiful art work, one of Mother Nature's media.
