Dickeyville is a small rural-like mill village that sits within the city limits on the western edge of Baltimore. When I was a kid growing up in a nearby neighborhood, there were only two roads into the village. The other way in was via the Dickeyville Trolley from Walbrook Junction. As kids we would often walk the trolley tracks trough the woods and over the Gwynns Falls stream into the village. We'd always put our ear to the tracks to see if we heard the trolley. Probably not a smart thing to do, but we were young and brave.
