While wandering around the Texas State Railway yards one June morning I came across this old forlorn Pennsylvania Oil Refining Co. tank car sitting in a string of equally forlorn cars. I asked, but no one seemed to know the future for this car.
This scene shows the track through "Old Bushy" just before it crosses over Brushy Creek. The Georgetown Tap was originally built to connect the Texas towns of Georgetown and Round Rock. Today it is the short line, Georgetown railroad, which primarily serves the Texas Limestone Co, who also owns the railroad.
