As far as I am concerned, one can never have enough bougainvillea. Living in Austin, I am fortunate that they grow here without much hassle. This image is rendered in "iconic black" It looks fabulous printed on photo rag metallic paper with metallic inks.
When ever I see a flower or enter a garden, I feel (to echo Michael Pollan's words*) as if I have entered a privileged space, a space that is reverberant with life. And what is a garden without critters? Do not the two go hand-in-hand exponentially multiplying that reverberant life?
