There's a sweet, sweet Spirit in this place,
And I know that it's the Spirit of the Lord;
Once there were sweet expressions on each face,
And as the worshipped, I know they feel the presence of the Lord.
Today, the sweet spirit lingers, for this is holy ground,
even if the people no longer are present.
Soon many of these Holy Places will be do longer, succumbing to decat or the wrecker's ball. Some fortunate few will find new life, but rarely as a Holy Place. Fortunately, not all places of worship are relics. I have included some those Holy Places to balance out the others. Interspersed are crosses and other liturgical pieces, some discarded some not.
